Down to the Wire

We finally had a chance to relax a little today and meet other families at the Significant Others Organization table at the SGU Annual Bazaar.  It is a rather large affair with booths set-up all along the winding streets of campus - from food and music to wares, crafts, travel services, and various imbibing stations, the students and faculty came out to celebrate what is probably our last day of relative freedom.

One of the families has a Mom starting medicine first term and her husband will be a stay-at-home Dad to their 3 kids.  I thought we had issues with life-craziness but they just found a place to live yesterday, have no car, no internet, no daycare, and their youngest is 1 year old.  We first met them on our way to campus this morning.  They were waiting by the side of the road as the full SGU busses passed them by.  We just had to stop and see if they needed anything.  I think we felt an affinity to their cause as we were essentially in the same boat just a few days earlier.  What a change a little time can make!

So, the big day is tomorrow.  Time to studying doctoring.
