I think I can

Maybe it's being away from SGU and Grenada, but I have been wracked with self-doubt lately.

My colleagues in 4th term are going through some serious doo-doo in the most integral of medical school classes: pathology. Their current material has 4.0 students on their knees, begging for mercy. Luckily for me, I have direct access to their angst-ridden thoughts, feelings, and emoticons from an online forum for SGU students. At this time in one year, I will be taking that dreaded of classes and with only 1 term successfully behind me, I am hoping that I can make it through.

In other news, my little guys are learning to swim. You would think that we would have gotten that out of the way before moving down to an island, but no, alas we are not that organized. Today was the first day and my oldest is taking great leaps into bigboyland, using a kickboard and even dunking in his face.

My little guy, however, who is so very opinionated, let every swimmer in the entire olympic sized pool know that he was Not Happy. The sounds coming from that boy's mouth could only be replicated on an episode of "Wild Kingdom: African Lion Hunts." After trying for a good 15 minutes to abate the deafening shrieks, my hubby and the little troublemaker left the pool much to the relief of the poor teacher who had resorted to putting in his earplugs for his "swimmers ear." Right.

We get to endure this every week day for 2 weeks.

Oh joy...
